Hi my name is Becky and I have 8 children.I have 2 with cf they are

13 years apart.I also have 2 kids 11 months apart (no birth control is 100%

effective unless you can say NO and mean it. I never could LOL ; )My husband

has a DNA translocation that causes severe problems 6 out of 8 pregnancies

fail because of major life threatening problems with the fetus .I have had 12

m/c's and 8 kids in the last 23 years.At your age I was pregnant with my 4th

baby in 4 years/I had 3 babies in 2 1/2 years.Birth control be damned none of

it worked for me.Just call me fertile myrtle .I can relate with the feelings

If you don't want any other children you could have your tubes tied as the

newer ways of conceiving can be done in a lab .I will tell you that when I

got my tubes tied my surgeon told me AFTER he tied my tubes that I could

still get pregnant I screamed NO! I happen to be married to a whimp when it

comes to pain ( he stubs his toe and he is dying) he refused to get a

vascectomy(sp?) you know office visit a little pain so I got to go thru Major

surgery to get my tubes tied.It seems it would have been easier for my hubby

to get fixed than for me to keep having months of bedrest and preemie babies

but try explaining that to a male.Good luck BeckyB.

My hubby is getting the big V done in two weeks. The best way to get him to

do it is tell him NO SEX until the job it done LOL!! It work here LOL!!! I

figured I was pregnant for 3 times and suffered for 36 months so he can

suffer for the hour it takes to get cut and the weekend to recoup. Deb A

My friend keeps telling me to tell my hubby that but I can't. He is

getting ready to have the big V done too. I'm currently on birth

control pill. I started back on it immediately after each boy was

born w/ no complications and it didn't cause my milk to dry up. We

are a fertile couple (if I stopped taking the pill tomorrow I bet I'd

be pregnant w/in a week) They are sore but that's it. They are just

going to milk it as much as possible!

coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; and now we have a dog named - are you
