Terri, thanks for informing me....since i have been offline for so long i

did not so that it was the hospital that has told the doctor to stop taking

medacaid.....i had no idea that a hospital could do this.....can they really

refuse care ????? by one of the e-mails that i read, it sounded like the

doctor, did not want to take medacaid any more because it did not pay

enough.....i guess it is always 2 different stories...what i should of done

before posting was call the hospital first to find out....which i think is

what i will do....this way i will feel better..and i will know what i am

Hi ..

Not a problem... Yes.. The hospital can tell the Dr's what they can and

cannot do because the Dr's only work FOR the hospital.. Dr R only has

control over his office.. As far as the other Dr's in NC doing this surgery,

I still need to call there is still one I need to call tomorrow but, i am

expecting lots of information through snail nail this week.. I will let you

know what I find out..

In my thoughts and prayers,

Hi Joanne...

Then, how are people getting approved and having surgeries? If the Dr can

prove it is medically necessary, then medicaid will cover it..

In my thoughts and prayers,
