My brother in law works for the company that makes Teflon and he says

it is only unsafe at very high temps - higher than what would be used

for cooking. Having said that I personally have choosen to no longer

use non stick pans/appliances whenever there is another option. Hope

this helps.

Thanks Cheryl.

This does help. I guess for now I will use them. When they start

to looking bad I will replace them. I have also gotten rid of

almost all my t/coated pans but these have hardly been used.
