Guest guest Posted February 6, 2006 Report Share Posted February 6, 2006 My brother in law works for the company that makes Teflon and he says it is only unsafe at very high temps - higher than what would be used for cooking. Having said that I personally have choosen to no longer use non stick pans/appliances whenever there is another option. Hope this helps.
