Period. Rick, I came to the identical conclusion; over the past 18 months, with my new 21 " digital Hitachi monitor, I've noticed my cheeks turn red with itchy breakout after about 90 minutes. This was not a problem -- not so much as I noticed, anyway -- with my old 19 " analog Gateway monitor. Thanks for the suggestion: I've just lowered the brightness and contrast. Others here have mentioned they also react to monitors. Anyone know why this happens, and if all monitors are created equal in this regard?
