Diaper rash on nursing baby...bad

Iv been strictly on the diet for 4 days and I can tell my own body is

adjusting as I have no energy at all and am just " blah " feeling. Im

wondering if whatever is going on in my body can be affecting my

nursing 3 mos. old to the point of suddenly having runny, stinky bm's

and a horrible red rash. She's never had a rash before, and it's just

as soon as she has a bm. Anyone ever had this experience? Thanks, Nora

Yes, we have....the baby is probably having die off too and all the " bad guys "

are in her poop irritating her skin. We got our pediatrician to prescribe an

Nystatin ointment for yeast. It helped when our babies did the same thing in

the beginning and I am breast feeding both of them. Hang in there, the first

week is not fun. Change diapers fast and frequently.
