When my husband and my biopsy came back positive with our NEGATIVE BLOOD

WORK...we found a pediatrician that confirmed our kids as having Celiac

Disease....as word of caution......again.....for US THE GLUTEN FREE DIET DID NOT

WORK! I don't know if it was because of our negative blood or not (we didn't

show a blood reaction to gluten!). Yet we all had COUNTLESS RED FLAGS for

Celiac Disease. OUR CONFIRMATION FROM OUR KIDS CAME FROM CHANGING THE WAY WE

EAT........the SCDiet has WORKED FAR THE BEST!!!!!! Thank you ELAINE and Sydney

more....but so much better! We also didn't want to put our kids thought this

" gold standard " of EGD (KiKI was so sick (infant daughter), neither did her NEW

and proactive pediatrician!)...........we where told the intestines of an adult

have the surface area of a tennis court...that the damage could be any

where.....and if it isn't " classic " damage....will not be labeled celiac

anyways...and often is MISSED OR NOT DIAGNOSED AS ANYTHING BEING WRONG! THE

EGD...only looks at a tiny section of the " tennis court " ........this is very

disturbing....plus our insurance wouldn't cover much of it!

P.S. I call us silly yaks/instead of celiac's...because nothing else describes

us! You may discover that this is true to you too....IS CONFIRMATION that

important in light of knowing this? Please I urge you to reread " The Celiac

Story " in BTVC....Elaine herself explains why so many celiac's are being missed!

Right now the diagnosis of Celiac is too darn " BLACK AND WHITE.....if you are in

the gray area....with negative tests.....YOU WILL BE MISSED!

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering what medical/naturopathic testing you all would recommend for

my son and I as we start this SCDiet? Someone mentioned nutritional analysis,

which I've had done and it was fine. Any others?

Did any of you have any luck getting a celiac diagnosis with a negative

blood test and NO endoscopy biopsy? I do not want to put my child through

either of these tests.

Any luck with stool tests for celiac/candiasis?
