Guest guest
We have been onthe scd for 6 months now,my son with ASD showed huge improvement. In the last 6 wks things have gone wrong I think I moved to quick & he was eating too much fruit as well as stopping anti-yeast tablets we use Parex recommended by his DAN Dr. I have gone back to stage 1 & have seen a marked withdrawal response which is good as it shows me something was wrong. My question is when do you know when to move to the next stage. I had been moving on when stools normal, behaviour ok etc. At some stage though he developed a lot of gas & a distended tummy. Also when in stage 1 school can be so hard especially when the child is not eating much or wants what the other kids have got especially friut time. What do other parents gove their kids, my son is low sals, low amines & has problems with phenols. Any help appreciated.
