They turned their nose up when they saw the binder etc and made me take everything out. I still had little section dividers that I left in, but I had to laugh. All my good work for nothing. So I say, just use paper clips. The problem is if you get too fancy they can't fit it in your file. As for the PHONE contacts, that is new for me. I did have SOME phone contacts but I believe most people do use email for their contacts. I really don't know if this is a new requirement or not. Good luck! I was denied the first time so then I sent my appeal letter, an appeal letter from Dr Rutledge and an appeal letter from my PCP all together by certified mail. After about 6 weeks I finally have been approved, BUT they want me to have the roux-en-y done here locally....so I am now preparing for my next battle. It is MY insurance, I pay for it, and I am going to have a doctor that I trust!!!!! So keep on fighting! We are with you all the way! Guest guest
Dear Dee, I had all my 10 contacts thru e- mail only as well. Dr R I don't think minds as long as you have contact and dialogue with them. I think he is not such a stickler with this as one is lead to believe. As far as the binder goes... Forget that idea... Less is better, I assure you! What I did is to paperclip together topics ie. family letters, medical records, contacts etc... I then used sticky note pads to earmark the groups. This worked great and they were pleased as it was easy for them to put into my record folder. They said they just throw out the binders anyway. Just keep it neat and orderly and follow the checklist to make sure all is complete. Good luck. fondly Susie Gordon MGB 7.12.00 It will happen before you know it!!! ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
