Okay Guys,

This is really weird, and this has happened to me before, too. The original

message below (written by valmaboyz) I never received. So now I am looking

at Cathy's response to her and I see the part she copied, so I know it went

over the airwaves somewhere! Has this ever happened to anyone else? I went

back through old mail, new mail, but never did get it!

Thanks to both of you ladies, and if someone would kindly send me the

original post, I would LOVE to read the whole thing!

Thanks!

Amen !!! I lived that life, starting gaining weight at 8.1/2 yrs. old

and it drove my Mom crazy, she just couldn't seem to handle that she had a

fat child and never acted like it was concern over my health, I was called

names by her and insulted more times than I can count and one of her

favorite

lines to me was " when I went shopping today I had planned on buying you

something but when I saw all those pretty clothes for normal size girls it

just made me sick so I didn't get you anything " , and I guess the most

amazing

thing is, I lost my Mom Feb. 27th 1999 and God knows I loved that woman more

than life itself, but she helped destroy my self esteem and self confidence

and she never ever acknowledged that she was ever cruel to me, But I guess

maybe to her she wasn't. I harbor no resentment of my Mom I loved her warts

and all as I know she loved me, But I sure would have loved someone to

accept

me and fight for me as Debbie has done for her daughter my life maybe

would have turned out different as in having more courage to shoot for

things

instead of giving up so easy or not trying at all. Debbie I so admire and

respect you for being the kind of parent you are and I do so know how

you feel!!!!!!

Happens to me too. I don't understand it either. I don't even know if

I am posting correctly. I just keep ploughing through and absorbing

all the info I can...even if it is partial. lol.
