I agree with Kim. Buy a really thick, heavy textbook! Hit HIM hard....below

Hi Krystena,

I think I'd buy a laboratory analysis textbook... and smack your

doctor over the head with it.

But then... that's just me. :))

Checking vitamins through blood analysis usually has a window of a few

days, not a meal -- especially those fat-stored vitamins, A, D, E,

and K.

If you want a more accurate picture, ask your doctor to start checking

intracellular levels of vitamins and minerals. Intracellular tells you

what's going on inside the cells; this is a snapshot of your true self

during a window of a few months, not days.

Hey, I have a question about the vitamin level testing.

I was told today by a the CF dr that Caden saw, that there is really

no need to do vitamin level testing as it really only reflects the

LAST meal eaten?

Is this true? Have you heard this?

Is anyone seeing a trend with Kim and her problem solving skills?

;)

No it is not true, and if it were, the testing could be done early in the

morning, long after the last meal. This is crazy. I saw my cf doctor

today and despite my having excellent nutrition, a panel was scheduled,

and was done between breakfast and lunch today--no problem!

Love,

n Rojas, who just cannot get over what doctors " think " they know!

But... but... I *had* to switch to books...

Doctors tend to freak out a little when you walk into their office

and pull a nutcracker out of your purse...
