Guest guest
Fellow R-sufferers, Can somebody please give me the exact prescription of niacin that the derm gives you to induce a flush. It is a topical cream with niacin (?) but what amount. Or is there another way to induce a flush before getting photoderm done. Thx, RH
Guest guest
RH, Your derm or whoever might be doing photoderm to you should know. For my first photoderm the nurse put a topical niacin solution on my face to induce a flush. It worked very quickly. I don't think all photoderm practioners use it but they should all know about it. I don't know the exact name of the solution or the percent but it was topical niacin in a clear solution that they wiped on my face using cotton balls. If you are doing photoderm and your person does not know what it is, ask them to find out. If they don't or won't find out, I would begin to suspect their knowledge with respect to rosacea and photoderm. - In rosacea-support@y..., " rhardingen " wrote: > Fellow R-sufferers, > > Can somebody please give me the exact prescription of niacin that the > derm gives you to induce a flush. > It is a topical cream with niacin (?) but what amount.
