Guest guest
OK NOW I am frustrated, lol....I just wrote a long reply and then yahoo wanted my password when I hit send, and the whole reply went away...ugh....I will never be able to recreate it as it was.... I completely understand what your needs are. I still think that it is somewhat easier on my kids, and their cousins, since there are five of them total CF to them does not seem quite so abnormal, and they are able to support one another. We have met several people from the list. My bestest Canadian Friend MO, where we met in canada a few summers ago (long story how it happened, but CF parents list is responsible...thanks..) anyway, now every summer we spend at least a weekend at our cottage together. The kids get along terrific, (except the time jojo was still a baby and bit Jordi, lol...), and Mo says it helps Ali because they are the only other kids that Ali knows with CF (plus, she is still hoping my kids ravenous appetites will rub off on Ali, while watching eat as many as 5 hotdogs at a time, amazing what cooking over the fire pit will do, lol) It is truly one of those friendships we will all cherish for a lifetime... We also met Lori from Florida here in TN at the pumpkin patch. My girls think that Samual is a hunk, and the little girls hit it off really well, still asking about each other from time to time. We actually even compared culture results ahead of time...went something like this...I said, you know my kids have pseudo, and she responded, so does she, almost like so what else is new....or like we were describing whether the kids were blonde haired and blue eyed... We also have met , aka Triplet mom and beautiful , though the majority of time I went to visit with bailey in the hospital or we met for lunch and I was not dragging kiddos along, though we have met at CF walks all of us. I still have many regrets that I never figured a way to make the trek out west to meet sweet, caring, wonderful . but not a day goes by that I don't think of her and consider her my kids special angel watching over them... I have rambled on enough.... take care, Jen Mommy of 7, 3 with CF > Very good point Lenora. I would just LOVE to meet other moms who are having > to deal with the same thing we are.
