Guest guest
Hi Kimber, You are right the surgery will be on my abdomen. Thanks for the idea of the pillow. I will definate take one with me because it's an 2 1/2 hr drive without rush hour traffic. I probably getting discharged from the hospital just in time for rush hour traffic. It should be a long ride home. Thanks again. Take Care, Louie in WV Re: Update on Louie's upcoming Surgery. Louie, I'm so glad they set your surgery appoint for so soon. I'll keep you in my prayers that all goes well and that you don't have any withdrawls. Also, when I came home from having surgery on my abdomen in the past, they recommended that I bring a pillow with me to hold and cushion the abdomen during the drive and it did help some. You might want to do something similar to cushion the abdomen (I assume that's where they are putting the pump, but if I'm wrong, let me know). Glad to hear you'll be able to go home afterwards. Let us know how it goes. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Southwest Representative Pancreatitis Association, International
