è and I also had a mysterious rash.

Dear Crystal,

Can you please tell me more about your " mysterious rash " ? I have one too...

It is over my pain center in my back and is only noticeable after a shower or

bath. Almost like the heat is what brings it out. Anyway, I am very

interested to hear about yours....

Lots of Gentle Hugs,

ReeAnn-

My mysterious rash comes when I have my pancreatitis

pain. The rash begins in the crook of my arm. If I

am having a bad attack the rash spreads throughout my

body. Everytime I am at the hospital along with my

pain and nausea meds I get benedryl for this. It

helps with the ithching but the rash is always there

until the pain is gone. At home I take hydroxyzine

along with my pain and nausea meds. That usually

seems to help when it isn't a serious attack. The

doctors don't know what to think about it. That was

one of the reasons they thought it might be autoimmune

pancreatitis along with my elevated ANA. However, I

once was reading a book at my university's book store

that said a symptom of pancreatitis is a rash. I had

never heard that before. When I questioned my

ex-doctor about it he said that the rash was

unrelated. The doctor I have now thinks there is some

connection, but what?
