I find when Aoife 10yo wcf is around and the other two girls 8.5 and 5.5, I work and work and work and keep going and get everything done from physio twice a day to meds, then dinners, homework, housework, I work part time myself in Dublin which is 25 miles from Naas and I drive in and out every day and I just keep going like on automatic pilot or something. Then the oldest two girls' Dad collects them every once in a while and so when I have time with just the 5 yr old wocf and should be relaxing or enjoying myself, I nearly crack up. I end up fighting with my partner of the last 7 yrs and we have awful rows and he really doesn't deserve it because he is so great to all my girls and especially to Aoife 10yo wcf and he's not even her father. It's strange, I have often thought about going for counselling or something but never have and now to hear you two great women talk about it, it makes it seem more like an ok thing if I have to do it for myself.
