I glad that you had good results with you scope and no problems from it. Good

luck when you go to the new doc on Oct.1st. Maybe then you get the answers that

you need.

Colonoscopy is fine

Just wanted to let you all know that I went through with my colonoscopy after

I had expressed fear to the forum that I did not want to follow through with

it after what happened to . Everything went fine - in fact, I have felt

better this week after having it done (as weird as that sounds). My husband

and I tried to talk to the local GI who did the procedure about my ongoing

problems and before we knew it he had me diagnosed with IBS and said I was

depressed and needed to see my PCP about going back on hormones and for

depression. We just gave up on him and I will see a GI specialist at U of

Mich on Oct 1. He also said, you had pancreatitis once and had your

gallbladder out and no more attacks. He doesn't believe that I had several

attacks before I finally went to ER when I was officially diagnosed. He did

mutter something about an ERCP and it has a 10% chance of causing

pancreatitis. I understand the frustration here.
