Guest guest
My son isn't suspected to have CF. Hi shunt was originally placed when he was three weeks old, due to hydrocephalus. He kept that shunt for ten years before docs at Shands in Gainesville scwewed him up royally by replacing the shunt and leaving the old valve and disconnected cathetar in his head and sending him home with a 102fever and unable to function at all for over a month, before a second doc in St. Pete at All Children's Hospital went in and took out all the garbage left by the idiots at Shands and took out the malfunctioning " new " shunt they'd just put in less than six weeks before she had to replace it! He's doing GREAT now! I thank GOD for the internet and this computer that cost me an arm and a leg! It helped me get to the ONE doc who was able to save my son's life and let him be a kid again :_)) Blessings and hugs to you and your little girl! I thought our daughter had lot of problems. So why are you on the CFparent list if your son does not have CF? Deb A
