I took Zocor (same family of drugs as those you tried ) and

had the same problem. I was told to avoid the whole family

of drugs because of this reaction. They have me on Niacin to

help lower my triglycerides. Maybe your doctor can look into

this? I'm not sure of the O'douls. It would probably depend

on if there is even a trace of alcohol in it (kinda like

decaffinated drinks. Most of the caffine is removed, but

there is still a trace amount). There is also a powder you

can mix with water and drink (Questran I believe) that helps

reduce triglycerides and cholesterol. Hope this is of some

help.
