Hi everyone,

Well today was my appointment with my Gastroenterologist, and it left

me feeling like my emotions are in a ball. I explained to him that

Ive had continued pain since the stent was removed and its been

slowly getting progressivley worse. He said that unfortunatly the

stents are only effective in about 50% of the people with Pancreas

Divisum and that he would not be surprised if this leads to a major

attack again. Fortunatly the pain I have now is nothing compared to

what I started with, but I am concerned that it will progress and

then the damage can not be fixed. He started me on enzymes today

(Ultrase MT) with all meals, which Heidi and I discussed last week.

He also said he wants me to let it takes it course for awhile to see

if the pain increases, and in 3 months he wants me to get another Cat

Scan and discuss placing another stent. I guess I am feeling pity for

myself as its very confusing not knowing whats going on with my body

and when it will strike next. Im trying really hard to be positive

and enjoy feeling good today. I have actually gained weight 10lbs,

UGhh :)~ The Dr said I need to lose 20-25 lbs, so I guess thats a

positive considering the other side of the coin.

Can anyone tell me what to expect from taking Ultrase the side

effects or benefits? Also if anyone else has had experience with Panc

Divisum and more than one stent can you share your experiences with

me?

Thanks Everyone
