Guest guest
Yes, that is for regular saunas. Far iinfrared saunas work at much lower temperatures than the regular ones and are often used on infants with heart conditions, especially in newborns and premature infants. My question refers to infants with no structural heart problems becasue the hemodynamics of those are very different than regular infants. FISs are not extreme heat. I am looking for any specific article for infants on the use of far infrared saunas, not regular saunas. thanks anyways. maria > > > > > > I was wondering if anyone is using a far infrared Sauna (FIS) in a very > > young child. Guest guest
Dear , I have a combination conventional/Infrared backrests sauna in my home. We started when Toren was 5yo, because of heavy metal and chemical toxicity... good results, levels are down, helps his respiration. We started out with medical supervision... the youngest I saw was 2yo. The mothers got in with the kids. In sauna at 160degrees for 30 minutes, 4-5 times a day. There is a book Sauna detoxification by marilyn Vickers , I believe. There are also several dextox centers, Center for Environmental Health in Dallas. You can read up and start slow. Guest guest
thank you for the information. i have studied those centers as well. i have decided, whenever we do sauna for my daughter that we will do at home. i have a far infrared sauna at home that has no glues, plastics or finishes either. my daughter will be 15mo this week already and i know, from the research i've done on the subject that these specific types of saunas are very safe. some protocols say that for very small infants they start at 3-5 minutes at much lower temps than what you did, even for premies. they talk about the baby's body getting used to the warmer temps and that they get use to the new 'climate' that they are exposed to . my concern is that none of these studies show specific results on her age group in kids with no heart problems, so i always like to look for some more info if available. i will look into the book you are recommending, maybe it has specific info on this. thanks for your recommendation, many people get confused with the kinds of saunas and think they are the same. FIS is great for deep tissue detox and metals. my husband is already using it in a detox protocol that we are doing for him. i have to wait for my formal detox becasue i am still breastfeeding and the toxins and metals will concentrate in the breastmilk if i do. i cannot wait to get my daughter started. it is just more reassuring if you have info on how it has been done for someone else and the results. that is what i am looking for. i am ordering your book right now. also, the sauna you bought sounds really nice. i am looking to recommend one for my sister and i was going to recommend mine. if possible, give me more info on the brand/specs of your sauna so that i can research it and see if it will fit her better. thanks again maria mom to fiol 14mo asd > > Dear , > I have a combination conventional/Infrared backrests sauna in my home. > We started when Toren was 5yo, because of heavy metal and chemical > toxicity... good results, levels are down, helps his respiration. > We started out with medical supervision... the youngest I saw was 2yo. > The mothers got in with the kids. > In sauna at 160degrees for 30 minutes, 4-5 times a day. > There is a book Sauna detoxification by marilyn Vickers , I believe. > There are also several dextox centers, Center for Environmental Health in > Dallas. > You can read up and start slow. > > Agape, h > > > > > Bermudez fiolisabel@...> wrote: > I was wondering if anyone is using a far infrared Sauna (FIS) in a very > young child.
