When you say that Debbie will be approving pt. while the doc is gone, does

that mean she will actually approve them for the surgery and set the date if

she has all the pertinent info?

OK I hate to keep obsessing about this, but does anyone know if it is really

unusual that I filled out my Patient Information form on May 30th and haven't

heard anything? I emailed Debbie last week, and she didn't know because her

computer is not hooked up to Dr. R's. I emailed Dr. R several days ago to ask

if he got it, and I haven't heard anything. I don't want to bother them again

if it is normal for it to take this long to hear anything. It seems that many

people have heard much sooner than this, though. I waited for the mail today

hoping to get a copy of the letter, but it didn't come. Can anyone out there

ease my mind about this? If Dr. R didn't get it for some reason, then I want

to do it again as quickly as possible! I have a really hard time being

patient about anything to do with the MGB because I just want to have it

sooooo badly!!!!!

WEll now Sara, I'm not known for my patience, especially in this type

situation!!! I would send emails every day and phone every day the office in

Durham until I got an answer. I see no harm in asking and letting them know

how very very important this is to you and of course you appreciate how very

busy they are, BUT!!!! Ya gotta know!!!! That's the way I would handle it

and that's the way I did handle it before I had my surgery on Jan 10, 2000.
