I agree that die off may also be a conponent be patient...but wanted to add from my own experience.....vitamin B12 and B6 defeciency can cause depression, mood swings, irritability...and behavior problems...and if realy out of kilter...psychosis....in all of us...this is one of the reasons that Elaine told us to supplement! Reread the section in her book on mental illenss, it will be helpful! If you can talk the doctors into B12 shots or B12 nasal gel or spray...plus time to experience the die off....I bet you will see huge improvements! I am feeling much better after I talked the doctor into prescribing me the B12 nasal gel or the nasal cobal nasal vit B12 spray (if you can get the injections do).....do a search (nutrition books and on the web)on vitamin B defeciency and what behavior and neurological problems in can cause and you will see what I mean! Don't forget what others are also telling you about die off also! Re check all supplements...and everything for illegals...we learned the hard way they " sneak " into things...remember bifidus is a bad guy with those of us with bad guts....make sure he is not getting this in his probiotic. Also use Elaines' suggestion of SCD vitamins from FREEDA's Vitamins...crush and put into apple sauce! New evaluation showed that I NEVER HAD BI_POLAR...that it was a misdiagnosis and a " catshal phrase " for some of us with DAMAGED GUTS! We all need to hang in there.... Guest guest
Thanks Carol and Sheila, Yes, there has been some increase in both of the kids BM's and much softer, not runny, formed but softer and his has been a lighter color. I also had about 3 days of nausia, fatigue and a couple of massive BM's so maybe we are all just progressing on schedule. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with it all and I know that I am not alone in it. Many of you have a much heavier load than I. It doesn't make your own load that much easier though when you are dealing with the care of a quad, a raging 5 yr old and an overly emotional 6 yr old. Add 4 hrs a day of program that the kids are on and the cooking that goes with this, go into a regression and I think, " Am I just going to end up putting this child on the drugs that I have fought against for 2 yrs anyway? " Sorry for the rant but I do get pretty overwhelmed. The cost of it is emense and I have considered getting a 5th job between the hrs of 11 PM and 5 AM but don't know how long I could go without any sleep. Well, enough. I do appreciate the faithfulness of you gals that are always there to encourage and give advice. Be blesses Sandy M. Guest guest
Thanks, Antoinette, for your words of encouragement and advice. I will look into the B vit. I know that just a B complex helps me stay stable when I am battling depression. You gave me a good reminder for myself. I need to look at Freeda's vits.
