I can not image patrick Bitter sr trained other doctors but not his

nurses, his nurse probably just do not have MD degree.

I have to agree that his office stuff usually is not very friendly,

but not himself.

I was quite disappointment yesterday as I suppose to have my first

photoderm surgery on this Thursday, I even asked for a vacation from

my company since I do not know how I will look like. But they called

me yesterday saying doctor will be out in the afternoon and asked me

to reschedule it, the waiting period is 3 months more. Luckly I

scheduled my second one three months ago, but the problem is how I

know next one will be cancelled or not? I hope they will do something

differently.

It usually said we need wait for three weeks between each photoderm

treatment, I have a question hoping somebody can answer it, is the

three weeks min or max time? If it is max, then I expect I might be

screwed someway.

Is anybody know a good vbeam praticioner near San fransico area>?

Hi,

I don't have any recommendations, but I was wondering this same

question for myself. I wonder if Dr. Sy might be able to recommend

someone....

Take care,

Meg,

Can you arrange to have Dr Bitter do the treatments? Will he

agree on request?

Thanks,

Yes, absolutely. Just make the request when you book your appts.

It may take a bit longer to get in initially, but that's why I

suggest booking a series of appointments.

I should also add that, if you're coming that far, I'm sure they

would make every effort to squeeze you in the next day the dr. is

back. Since I am local and I think Jane is as well, they are not

likely to work with us as much to accommodate our schedules.

Why is this office so prone to cancel appointments? I

can see once in a while, but it sounds like a chronic

problem with these people. And is this the same office

with bad attitudes? What aggravation!

hi all, i have the serious rosacea type. i had my second treatment at dr.

bitter's on Wed. i have had pain, burning and redness in the last day, signaling

one of my horrible, debilitating flares sarting up.

they said i have an unusual and extreme case of rosacea. they even said

something else may also be wrong as i have so much pain and blushing. my skin is

very, very sensitive and we were both worried about triggering an intense

flare-up. the pain from the laser was very bad for me, but only in the red

spots. she said that meant i have a lot of damage down deep in my skin and am a

different case than run-of-the-mill rosacea. crap:-(

i am once again taking vicodin, but now i think it has gotten me sick as i keep

throwing up. i also got woken up because i couldn't breathe last night, but that

went away. maybe i'm overdoing it on the vicodin?

as dr.bitters office goes (los gatos) they are the sweetest people on earth. i

only wish my stupid HMO would be as nice. they even offer to help me with

applying the elmax stuff and help transfer me out of my wheelchair. and they

love my working dog :-) i really like them alot.

i'm thinking of asking them about that clonidine stuff??? is it supposed to stop

flushing?? has anyone used something like this? please, please let me know.

they also asked if i had looked into something called ETS. but after she said

the resluts were mixed i decided not to pursue it.

so is it normal to flare up within a day of a fotofacial?? anyone with this

experience can you please let me know?

Angie

I have been seeing Dr. Bitter for some time now. The only time my

appointment was cancelled on short notice was when Dr. Bitter got

the flu. He, too, is human, and can get sick ocassionally!

I have been cancelled one other time when I made an appt several

months in advance, and Dr. Bitter decided to take few days off for a

family vacation. In that case, I was called a few weeks before the

appt. I had the opportunity to go on the cancellation list to get

squeezed in when someone else cancelled, but I chose to wait until

my next appt which was 2 weeks later.

Dring the time I have been seeing Dr. Bitter, he was only been sick

once or twice. I think that is pretty reasonable over a several

year timeframe.

I have not been to the Los Gatos office, but have been to the SF office. The

staff was rather rude and ill-informed too boot.......In the posts I've seen

over time on this board, it seems like the Los Gatos office is a nicer,

better run place than the SF one. Maybe it has to do with the fact that Los

Gatos is really Bitter's home base?
