Guest guest
I have a friend whose children had macular degeneration and they were going blind. She used a DAN doctor and gave massive does of Vit. A WHICH WAS CAREFULLY MONITORED BY BLOODWORK- SINCE THIS IS DANGEROUS. BUT when they started Bromelin digestive enzymes the absorption rate sky-rocketed and they no longer had to take Vit A. these children are adults and have their sight. Both drive cars. Guest guest
Hi Venessa! Your post intrigues me because my daughter Elle has the lowest vitamin A level that our DAN, Dr. Megson has ever seen in her 27 years of practice. Naturally, this news did not present me with any thrills . . only chills. Initially, her vitamin A was so low that she was in real danger of developing blindness. Fortunately, this has not happened. We have been giving her cod liver oil everyday, but I am interested in what you are saying. I have never heard of bromelin enzymes. What are they, and are they SCD legal? Jeni Lynn (gastrointestinal problems) SCD 3 weeks mom to Elle, 17 mo. Guest guest
" I have never heard of bromelin enzymes. What are they, and are they SCD legal? " Bromelain is in a lot of different enzymes. Houston Nutraceuticals sells enzymes with and without bromelain. Other companies do as well. I don't know of one that has just bromelain, but it probably exists. Guest guest
Raw pineapple has the bromelain enzyme in it naturally. Kali will fight you fiercely if you try to get her to eat even one bite.
