Guest guest
Hi, Bernadine! I had terrible migraines and also just plain old headaches. At two other women have had similar difficulties in the past seven or eight months as post ops. We have all found that the recommended Children's Liquid Motrin has been sufficient to knock the stuffing out of even the migraines. For me, there's very few headaches any more...and only three migraines since the MGB...all were stopped with just the Children's Liquid Motrin. We don't know how that's possible, but we ain't arguing that it works! Dee in MI (MGB 16 Dec 99)

Guest guest
Dee, It sure seems that the migraines/headaches diminish for a lot of patients after the surgery. Believe it or not, most of my headaches come on if I don't eat enough (LOL) or wait too long to eat. I guess with the new tummy and drinking/eating smaller meals throughout the day will be better. Thats great that the liquid motrin works for migraines, too. I hate to take Imitrex unless it's a real bad migraine. Last thing I'd want with my new belly is the barfing that comes with a migraine! Thanks for your input and for letting me know there's some other post- ops 7 & 8 months out that are in control of their headaches. Flo and a are relatively new post-ops and their experiences have been good also. I am so glad you all shared your experiences, I am much more at ease now. Thanks again.
