Hi

I saw my derm. yesterday and he prescribed me with propranolol 40mg

each day for flushing. It doesn't seem to have made much difference

yet - do you think this dose is enough to make any difference?

Many thanks - Simon

Simon, I've never prescribed propranolol for flushing or stage fright

so I can't help you with the finer points, though it's a very

commonly prescribed medication for stage fright. What's the exact

dose -- 40 mg once a day, or 10 mg four times a day?

Is your dermatologist aware of your concerns regarding lethargy and

depression (because propranolol are well-known to exacerbate both

symptoms, so be on the lookout.)

Good luck, and keep us posted.
