Crystal,

I've noticed that if I get sick with anything that causes

coughs, diahhrea or vomiting will usually upset the

pancreas. My theory is that it's caused by the spasms these

things cause to the diaphram (stomach) and the panc. just

doesn't like to be squished in any way, shape or form. When

I had pneumonia last winter, I ended up with an acute attack

at the same time due to all the coughing I was doing.

Kimber have you ever noticed that chocolate or things full of sugar causes

an attack.? I had a really bad one last night after eating a piece of

chocolate. I know that it contains fat but I wondered if the sugar plays any

roll. from Canada

I've never had any problem with things that have sugar in

them, unless they have a high fat content. And chocolate

does have a high fat content. Fat Free chocolate items don't

bother me at all. My problems all seem to center around fat

and protein. But that's just me. Others in the group might

also have problems with sugar content too. Ask around.
