Nutritional Yeast ?

Hello All,

I'm new to the group. After having chronic 'D' for apprx five years, I

was diagnosed with Crohn's about a year ago and found the most

signifcant improvement to my condition via removing refined flour and

sugar. In an effort to finish the healing process, I have recently

started the full-on SCD diet. I am merging it with the basic principals

of Nourishing Traditions lifestyle and the theraputic guidance of a

homeopath.

Knock on wood, I'm finally beginning to have what resembles 'normal'

bowel movements.

Which brings me to my question, is nutritional yeast allowed? I've been

taking apprx 1 tbs of the Red Star brand in with yogurt smoothies to get

the extra B vitamins.

I look forward to learning more about this group.

Thanks,

I'm doing it. My boys are doing it and my DH is sort of doing it (he has a

harder time with temptation at work, plus he doesn't have the health

problems that the rest of us have). But, I decided to do the diet for all

of us. I mean, I'm not doing it just to go along for the ride with my

kids.
