I know someting weird is going on. > Debbie in Mich Debbie, Oddly enough, the condition of our nails and our hair often are important indicators of our overall health status. This condition with your nails is something that I hope you keep pushing for an explanation for, especially if it is something that has appeared rather suddenly. It could be a trauma to the nail bed, some type of infection, or a sign of malnutrition, or even something else. That might be a question to take to a dermatologist if you can't get the answers from your other physician. Please let us know how the test results go.
