Guest guest
Someone had asked what my kids eat on a daily basis. I am working on updating our menus right now, but when I get done, I can upload them to the files section of the group if people are interested. And to give a brief rundown of what they eat on a daily basis... Eggs- 2-3 Fruit- 3 servings or so Vegetables- 6 servings or more Meat- about 1/4-1/3 pound Yogurt- 1/2 cup (sometimes none, sometimes more) Juice- less than a cup Honey- daily, but not sure of amount off-hand Nuts- usually none, but some days they do have some for a snack. On a weekly basis, I would say they consume less than a cup per week. Beans- not daily, but they do eat them a few times a week. I'll get the menus up in the files, if people are interested. (Once I get them updated.) Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
Guest guest
Jody, Count me in as a person who would love to see them in the files. Thank you for doing this. I'm sure it will help me to increase Graham's variation within his repretoire of 10 foods! a > > Someone had asked what my kids eat on a daily basis. > > I am working on updating our menus right now, but when I get done, I > can upload them to the files section of the group if people are > interested. > > And to give a brief rundown of what they eat on a daily basis... > > Eggs- 2-3 > > Fruit- 3 servings or so > > Vegetables- 6 servings or more > > Meat- about 1/4-1/3 pound > > Yogurt- 1/2 cup (sometimes none, sometimes more) > > Juice- less than a cup > > Honey- daily, but not sure of amount off-hand > > Nuts- usually none, but some days they do have some for a snack. > On a weekly basis, I would say they consume less than a cup per week. > > Beans- not daily, but they do eat them a few times a week. > > > I'll get the menus up in the files, if people are interested. > (Once I get them updated.) > > > Jody > mom to -7 and -9 > SCD 1/03 >

Guest guest
" About the kale - I don't know how your preparing it, but my son loved it steamed, with a little pumpkin oil and salt. " Marilyn, I guess I just never worried about it since they like so many other veggies. I think we just boiled it with garlic. Maybe they would like it the way you mention. I'll have to wait until I can get some fresh and try it. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
