I would agree with all of the things Marjorie listed,

but I also suggest keeping a food/symptom diary for at

least three weeks to see if you can detect a pattern.

Also, if you eat similar foods for dinner and/or

evening snack, you might try changing the patterns to

see if the swelling improves. (Ice cream and bowls of

cereal are two common evening snacks that might cause

swelling if a person was sensitive to dairy or grains,

just as an example, and not to imply these are your

issues.)
