Back in the 'beginning " when I saw a derm, that is exactly what she said

about antibiotics. At best I think they are a " stop gap " measure. Most

people seem to have fairly marginal results with them and based on what I've

heard, it seems mostly with the acne component.

Not sure why it takes three months. I don't know that anybody

would be able to tell you for sure though since nobody is

entirely sure why antibiotics work on cea in the first place

(Its assumed that it is due to anti-inflammatory properties but

thats about all anyone knows about it I think)

Do you mind sharing what your trying now to try to reduce the

swelling? Or is antibiotics the entire thing?
