Guest guest Posted March 22, 2002 Report Share Posted March 22, 2002 Hi, I tried Elidel (pimecrolimus) for 9 days and got a rash. I think it's the base which has lots of alcohol and other crap. Protopic is a cleaner product and works well on a rash and flaking skin, but my skin is now sore all the time. Maybe if pimecrolimus were formulated in a different base, it would be better.
