" I recently read an old post of Dr. Sy's in which she commentsthat not all

companies list all ingredients - under the rule of " proprietary trade

secrets " . "

I'd say a good rule of thumb is any product that doesnt list ingredients is

probably not something you want to use. Why would they not show the

ingredients unless they had something to hide? (A.K.A. There's actually

nothing to this $80 1 oz bottle of mystery cream, or, its loaded with cheap,

irritating ingredients). It seems to me that any product that has better,

gentler ingredients would want to have a big neon sticker on the front of

the package advertising it, not thinking up ways to hide it.

Hi adam,

I agree with you. My sense of what dr. sy said was that the consumer would

not really know if the ingredient list was complete or not. I would assume

that this company, Lavera, is listing everything because they say " full

disclosure. " the only other reason I can think of for not fully disclosing

is because they don't want the competition to copy them. ....so we suffer!
