Trish >> Same reason alcohol is. Trish the dish! It probably would be " okay " ,but I 'm not taking any chances w/ my liver. Honestly liver damage and death is probably one of the most horrible deaths one could have. I have read on the general OSSG groups of people taking Tylenol and drinking alcohol only 2 weeks post-op and talking about what a great " buzz " they got. It made me glad we are so educated w/ this surgery. Always room to learn,though. Lot's of people were giggling about the alcohol,and no one mentioned the potential for/increased risk of cirrhosis or liver damage. It was sad. Keep in mind these are the same people who are admonishing on that list and telling her Dr.R's lying and results aren't valid.
