Guest guest
Marjorie, I think I can speak for all of us rosacea sufferers who also are doublely cursed with having tinnitus to deal with, thank you for the tinnitus web page reference. Any information that can give us hope for relief someday is always welcome. I apologize to those who think tinnitus is off topic and has no place in this group, I can only ask for your understanding. In my situation, hearing hissing steam all day and night is just as frustrating as looking in the mirror and seeing the results of 40 years of what started as teenaged acne, and has now become a rosacea nightmare. I have learned a lot of good information about rosacea since joining this group. It's amazing how many rosacea trigger's are also tinnitus trigger's, making both worse. Is there a connection somehow or just coincidence ? Could tinnitus be vascular related ? Unfortunately, we tinnitus sufferers get about as much help from our doctors about tinnitus as we do about our rosacea. So many question's, so little help ! Thanks again. Dennis Re: Otic cea? I can't hypothesize a convincing direct relationship between tinnitus and rosacea, but there may be an indirect relationship in some people. Nothing springs to life based on a very quick med reference check, though. Some of you will love this page: http://www.bixby.org/faq/tinnitus/discover.html#tinnitus ....because it gives possible causes of tinnitus as food allergies and mercury in teeth! Guest guest
Dennis & Marjorie -- My big flushes are usually preceded by ringing and/or " buzzing " in my ears. For years I thought this was some sort of migraine aura and took assorted medications. In my case, I'm 95% certain the ringing, flushing, etc. (a whole host of symptoms) are related to food allergies or intolerances. I've never had ringing without flushing...
