Guest guest
Claire you are amazing!!!! I can't imagine trying something ever again if it made you throw up!!!! I have never thrown up once and I am 5 months post op!!! I am so careful what I eat, probably toooo careful, but Lordy, I can't take throwing up or even the thought of it!!!! I eat baked potatoes a lot and sauteed mushrooms and that is a good meal to me!!! I do use real butter on my potato and the fat free sour cream. I can eat scrambled eggs and bacon. l/2 of a cheeseburger from Steak & Shake and about 8 french fries/ fat free cream cheese and triscuit/ white baked fish and twice baked potatoes that have cheese mixed in with them. Tuna sandwich with doritoes. So you see I have a fairly tame diet. I eat a banana every single day!!! Guest guest
Dear Claire, Your story did help me tremendously. Guest guest
Clair, Thanks for the hot chocolate tip......I won't be trying it anytime soon. I do have a question though. Have you noticed your skin being softer and smoother since surgery? Yesterday I made the comment to my hubby that my face seemed smoother and softer and he said he had noticed the skin on my arms felt smoother and softer. I haven't changed my beauty/bath products and the only thing different is the surgery. I just thought I would see if anyone else has the same thing. This may be a new fountain of youth!!!!!!!!!! As long as the scale keeps going in the right direction, I'll keep checking to see what variety I can add to my menu. Today I had three ham slices and 6 saltines for breakfast and then some crystal light a little while later. I agree with whomever said ham is great. It give me protein, is low fat (the one I buy at least) and it also is a bit salty so it helps with fluid retention too! {{HUGS}} Claire MGB 4/10/00 300/259.5 Yippeeeee 15.25 inches lost forever!!
