Guest guest
Jody, I appreciate your opinion on this! After 4 days on the intro diet, we're definitely ready to move on to other foods. The problem is that most of the foods he tolerates are not SCD legal, or are only recommended for the advanced part of the diet. Pretty soon, I'm probably going to have to jump ahead to Stage 3, and I was hoping to get a little healing done first before we do that. Do you have any advice about what advanced SCD legal foods are least irritating to the gut? He tolerates cabbage, brussel sprouts, rutabaga, celeriac, turnips, parsnips (all these roots I boil a long time and puree), and beets. He is only slightly allergic to squash, broccoli and asparagus, which I used to feed him regularly in rotation, before we started the intro diet. I am definitely looking for advice on the hard choices we have to make, so thank you!
