I guess my biggest problem with the Cleveland Clinic would be the lack of one

on one relationship with the specialist. The specialist I went to see had

another doctor due my ERCP with sent placement. I had an attack so they

admitted me and the green team, which consists for about 15 different doctors

took over my care. None of them new my history so I had to explain it over

and over. They also didn't medicate well. Then I went back for a follow up

visit and saw a nurse practitioner who was consulting via phone with the

specialist and they decided I needed to be admitted again. I had to wait 4

hours without meds for them to find me a room. Then it was 13 hours later

that I actually talked to a doctor from my new team. That's when they

finally got the ball rolling with my care. I stayed over the weekend and had

the stent removed on Tuesday by yet another doctor. The doctor in charge of

the team came in after my ERCP and told me that I had overstayed a useful

visit. I was discharged and that same night had an attack again as I always

do when I have an ERCP, so I ended up going to my GI doc in Columbus and was

admitted for 4 more days. I am to return to the Cleveland Clinic on the 16th

to see my original specialist. Not sure what their next step will be. As

far as nurses I had great care. As far as privacy I had none. I didn't have

a private room and the lady next to me was very ill and they worked on her

all the time making sleep impossible. I think my specialist has knowledge I

just don't like having so many doctors and they all seem to have different

opinions. Hope this helps. I will let everyone know how the 16th goes.
