" I can see how flushing leads to angiogenesis but how does angiogenesis lead to sebaceous hyperplasia, oily skin, and large pores? It seems to me that these are two separate issues. I have noticed some rosaceans with quite red faces who have small pores and others with minimal red who have large pores. It seems to me that these are After a while of continued increased blood flow due to the newly formed blood vessels, chemotaxis of immunological cells, leakage, etc, this generally stimulates the sebaceous glands. This does not necessary mean the sebaceous glands will grow, but sets up everything for this event to occur. Of course, increased oiliness can occur because of generalized increased androgen sensitivity and other reasons besides rosacea as well. > two separate issues.
