Hi Jzin Teng,

How were bowel symptoms before SCD? How are they know?

What are they eating?

Any probiotics? Yogurt?

I suspect some form of colitis

for those of you who has recovered

what else can I do to speed recovery?

was: diarrhea like, slurry

now: if puree food: solid, wonderful...no more putrid or fermenting

stinky breath! breath smells fresh unless badly cooked hard

to digest meats. Can tolerate smaller amounts of non puree foods

> What are they eating?

just last week we turned vegetarian

(was: daily rotating chicken and lamb)

mostly organic, lightly boiled vegetables

sometimes pureed some not

avocados, chard, kale, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower

olives, carrot, zucchini, etc

olive oil, coconut oil

was giving lots of fresh young coconut flesh,

but stopped to see if that was

causing itchy skin

was giving SCD goat yogurt and young coconut kefir

but suspect dairy is giving thick snotty runny nose

and coconut maybe giving itchy rash

just started raw soaked lentils very tiny tablespoons amount

just restarted raw pistachios (no nuts so far)

may reconsider nuts...just realized " raw " nuts is the key

but apprehensive in giving nuts coz Vihren got very

tantrumy when given roasted nuts (not know which: almond, pecan,

walnut, pistachio, cashews...so we stopped all)

Progurt SCDdophilus alternate days with Klaire Lab Therbiotic

complete.

stopped goat milk yogurt coz baby girl NT and Vihren

get thick snotty nose

with it

Dimiter has been SCD since 12/3

but few days ago, if I give him lots of non puree foods

he stills get partly slurry poop

(his poops has been perfect...not super stinky, well formed

for a loooong time thanks to SCD)

being vegetarian, DImiter behaved even more " normal " and calm

thanks a looooott!!!!

Green coconuts or ripe coconuts?

What do you mean by raw lentils? They should be cooked.

The therbiotic complete contains inulin which is SCD illegal and many

strains which are not recommended.
