I know that Dr. R likes us to stay around for a while, but if all goes well I will be having my surgery on the 8th of June and I understand that he will be going on vacation soon after that. I don't know who will take his patients when he is gone if there is a problem.....DOES anyone know? Anyway, I found this article to be very interesting....its from Bottom line magazine. Recent surgery. Postpone flying at least one week after major surgery -- two weeks after coronary bypass surgery. The danger is that air that might have been trapped inside the body during surgery could expand under reduced air pressure. This could cause torn sutures and other problems.
