Has anyone come across a Vitamin K Plus? I came

across it at a GNC store. It claims to tone down

redness. The ingredients contain many things but the

Grape seed extract, Vitamin C w/ bioflavonoids caught

my eye. It does also contain Cetearyl Alcohol in it

and I am currently using the Neutrogena Moisture for

Sensitive Skin and I know it contains a little alcohol

in it as well. I don’t want to put too many products

with alcohol on my face.

Anyone?

Regards,

Rob

Please don't confuse " alcohol " with " cetearyl alcohol " . Alcohol (or ethanol)

is the stinging solvent which causes a reaction on some people's skins (both

externally and internally!!) whereas cetyl, cetearyl or stearyl alcohols are

waxy materials used to stabilise creams and lotions.

Some people may also have a reaction to these " fatty alcohols " , as they are

called, but it is not related to the reaction to ethanol.
