Guest guest
Hello, I `ll try to explain the best I know how to. The cabin prices change starting at the lower prices being on the bottom of the ship and getting more expensive as you go upwards Most cabins look and are the same size. As you get upwards in the ship you'll find that the outside cabins have picture windows in them They are a bit more expensive, but are well worth it. I `m not a fan of the inside cabins, because I like to know when it is day or night. But it's all in ones opinion and how long you'll really be in your cabin. The balcony cabins on the top are about 3 times bigger than the other cabins and have a bath tub in them, which all the other cabins just have showers. Cruise prices include meals. They are an all you can eat day or night type of deal, including cabin room service. They have everything from lobster, steak, ice-cream buffets, pool side buffets, and pizza. The desserts are great too. None carbonated beverages are often included, but anything carbonated or booze you'll have to pay extra for You can do as much on a cruise or as little as you want. It's all up to you. They have bingo, spa's, night clubs, art shows, gambling and shopping just to mention a few things to do. When you port you can stay on or get off the ship, again it's your decision to make. But please, just be back before the ship sails again. (I did a cruise last year where a few young men had too much to drink and forgot about returning to the ship and well, they got left behind) While boarding the cruise you'll need either a cash or credit card deposit of around $300.00 per cabin if you want to shop, buy pictures, drink or use the spa/salon's. They will give you a Carnival credit card for use on the ship only, in return. The documents you will need to enter the Cayman Islands and Jamaica are a valid government issued ID with a picture and a certified copy of your original birth certificate. (if must have the seal no hospital copies are excepted) Just the county/state copies. Kids will only need a birth certificate. All cruise ships have Drs. on board too and in case of an emergency you can be airlifted from the ship back to a suitable port of call. All ship have infirmaries. They do cost though. Well, if there is anything that I have forgotten please feel free to ask. If I don't know the answer I'll find it out and get back to you. Oh, BTW the cruise will sail from Miami, FL. and return to there. Best, Joanne In TN
Guest guest
Subj: Re: Cruise Info Date: 7/2/00 9:23:18 AM Central Daylight Time From: Joanne 97617 To: MGB-PostOp (AT) e Hello, I know we talked about a 3/4 days cruise, but I was flooded by email saying that many had been to the Bahamas and those are the only 3/4 day cruise that leave from FL, which also everyone wanted to sail from the East coast because that is where most of you are. Again I will say I know this cruise will not accommodate everyone's want's, but I hope the majority are satisfied and will to take the time off to and cruise and meet everyone. Actually I wish all of you would, but I understand the daily grind of things. So please -- let's all put our differences a side come for the cruise and have a good time. I also see that those of you that wish to cruise without children want a table that is " childless " during meals. I will make arrangements with Carnival that and see that this request is taken care of. I do understand this request. There are so many time that I could get my meals childless, but I have 2 days and it just never works out that way. ; o ) Best, Joanne Tillman
