Guest guest
What is the difference between the two and which is better for a CF child? I have a little boy who has had about 50 admissions since birth. He has many IV's a year and is terrified by IV's and bloodwork or needles altogether. I spoke with my doctor about getting one for my child to relieve the stress, pain and repeated tramas associated with getting an IV started. Gosh....am I making a good choice and is this a painful procedure and how long is hospitalization for this? Thanks
Guest guest
We love our Med-Port. It is under the skin. When she is not accessed she can do anything. It stays in for 7 days so we only have to change it once during IV meds. Lynette Mom to Traci 7w/cf and 11w/ocf
