Guest guest
My sister is still very ill from pancreatitis. However, she is now in the University of Michigan hospital getting better testing and care. It is not believed that her pancreatitis is chronic as of now. They have done cat scans and did an endoscopy today. The dr believes it might be a result of high tryglyceride levels, but they are not sure yet. SO now she is on a medication to combat this. If this does not solve the problem, they are going to do a risky procedure. I was not the one at the hospital today to find out what this is. My father was told that it has a 30% risk of mortality and this test is done where they actually look inside the pancreas. Does anyone know anything about this test? I pray to God that she gets better. She has been so sick since May. I feel sorry for anyone who has this awful disease and you all are in my prayers. Take care and goodnight.
