Guest guest
To respond to several posts lately about the differences in the Metros, I'll tell you how I reacted. My rosacea manifested with itchy papules. MetroGel helped some with the papules but made the itching and stinging worse. I switched to MetroCream, same med but in a creamy base rather than an alcohol base, and it helped the itching and reduced the papules somewhat but still got them. Then I switched to Noritate, same med only stronger, and a cream base without the waxes and less preservatives. It was very effective, almost no papules and no itching and stinging. You have to use these for several months to see the results, though. I recommend trying Noritate if your papules are still there after using MetroCream for a while. The ingredients in the base could be irritating your skin. Also, Zinco has helped the itching. And, I've been sick a lot this winter and have been lazy about washing my face at night and just going to bed with the Noritate, Zinco and liquid make-up on from the morning. My face has never looked better! You can wash too much! L.
