Guest guest
My son told me to do a search on " pancreatitis forums " and I came across a message board of physician students (they may be doing their internships). It has their names and you can read the messages they send back and forth. It is very disturbing what some of them are saying about pancreatitis patients coming in thru the ER - so I suspect they may be ER doctors. They talk about acute Panc vs CP patients and what should be done for them. Some of you may find it interesting. -Debbie in Mich ( P.S. Was there any positive new information discussed at the Pancreas Symposium that anyone could pass on to those who did not attend?)
Guest guest
That is very interesting about alcohol residue in food.....Alcohol burns off really fast...I would like to see the study on that > > I hope this finds you and yours well > > Mark E. Armstrong > NW Rep, PAI > www.top5plus5.com This was general information shared amoung those of us at the Symposium and based on personal experience and general " good health ideas " than studies. Since the person that shared this has lived with pancreatitis for over twenty years and she journals, she has found that this is something that triggers an attack for her. Each person reacts different, but I just wanted to share since many people ask what can cause an attack. Thanks for pointing out that I wasn't clear on how I stated this information, Gail West, Indiana State Representative Pancreatitis Association International
