Hi All-

Went to the drs. today - 16 days post pulsed dye -

just for a " check on things. " I let the dr. evaluate

me before I commented. He said he wanted to give me

something for uneven skin tone I have. I call it

" splotchy " --you can see the areas that were treated

(circles). He gave me samples of Lustra-AF - a

Hydroquinone USP 4% (bleaching cream). He said to use

every morning before applying makeup. It has a

sunscreen in it. He added that with my sensitive skin

that if it irritates to use it every other morning,

but to try to keep using it. I go back end of June.

At that time he said we could talk about another

treatment - ugggh - don't know if I could go through

that again! He said it depends on how I look in 4

more weeks. Geez I just noticed the sample he gave me

expires 6/02--is that OK?

My main question - Has anyone used a bleaching cream

after pulsed dye, and did it help / irritate? He said

the bleaching cream does not contain steriods. But

the irritation thing scares me! Any help would be

appreciated! Also since the treatment I developed a

" freckle like " area on the side of my nose. I was a

little scared by it's looks (larger than a

freckle--sort of uneven looking). He said to be sure

to use the cream on it. I also forgot to ask him if I

can use Klaron with the bleaching cream and if so when

(before or after). Anyone know?

Also I was under the impression that one pulsed dye is

enough (before that he did 2 treatments with a yag

laser to attack the spiders, and the third (pulsed

dye) was to take care of the overall redness. Are

there people out there having back-to-back pusled dye?

I just thought maybe I would have a year or two break

before even thinking about another. Sorry to have so

many ???. Thanks - Michele
